Wonder Why – New single from East Collectors

WONDER WHY – NEW RELEASE APRIL 14th

Danish bass player, producer and songwriter Jimmy Østbygaard, under the project name East Collectors, has released a new single titled Wonder Why. The song, sung by Danish vocalist Liva Dongsgaard, is a heart-wrenching ballad about the pain of a broken love.

True to the “East Collectors” ethos, the musicians and vocalist for “Wonder Why” were handpicked from around the world to create a perfect fit for the song. The Denmark-based Østbygaard worked with United Kingdom-based guitarist Jack Haigh, South Africa-based keyboard player/pianist Eli Mary, and singer Dongsgaard to create a truly international collaboration.

The single was mixed by former Abbey Road mixing engineer Mick Morrisson, who is now located in Australia. The combination of the different styles and perspectives of the international team of musicians and engineers has resulted in a track that is emotionally powerful and
musically intricate.

Østbygaard’s “East Collectors” project has gained a reputation for bringing together talented musicians from different parts of the world and creating music that crosses cultural boundaries. With “Wonder Why,” he has once again succeeded in creating a beautiful and moving song that will resonate with listeners everywhere.
