Welcome to the world of Red32, “the Space Age Steely Dan.” This group of great musicians have made fans of Prog Rock artists including Ozric Tentacles, Klaatu, David Sylvian, Camel…. I’d like to connect them with friends in the yacht rock community as I received encouragement from friends involved with Yach Rockin’ Radio and Yacht Rock Podcast.

“A Place to Call Home” is Red32’s new music lyric video, and created by digital wizard Blake Carpenter. It’s at www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKHSGcLjX6I

Tony Romero says “A Place to Call Home” is about Ice age, climate change, nuclear war, virus outbreak, at some point the earth is going to be uninhabitable for mankind. For the human race to carry on we will have to travel into outer space to find a new home. This is a song about our future adventures into the unknown.

RED32 is a crossover progressive pop rock band based throughout the United States. The band strives to blend the varied influences of its four members into a forward-looking musical expression.

According to the Steve Bonino (TRV, Bomber Goggles, Solo). “Tony Romero was throwing out ideas for a second Tony Romero’s Vortex (TRV) album as he, Robert, Steve and Eric were sending audio files back and forth, enhancing Tony’s ideas as they have done in the past. However, half way through the recording process it became clear that what was being created felt different from a Tony solo project. It was sounding like a band unto itself. Thus Red32 was born as an inspired creation morphing out of another inspired creation. The band is excited to share this new sound with you. An amalgam of styles: rock, pop rock, progressive rock, art rock with a touch of ambient thrown into the mix. Filled with memorable melodies, thoughtful lyrics and creative arrangements, we invite you to spin the roulette wheel and land with us on Red32.”

Coming in second place in Prog UK’s weekly competition for Song of The Week, “A Place to Call Home” says Anthony Romero, “ is a song about our future adventures into the unknown.”  “The group,” states Prog UK, “ has already garnered the band with plaudits such as ‘the Space Age Steely Dan.’”

DMME’S Dimitry Epstein writes, “the foursome’s full force will be apparent in the infectious ‘A Place To Call Home’ whose rhythms and soft vocals take those ready and willing to forget about everything, the ‘multi-planetary citizens of life’ the group sing of, to the dancefloor and slide into sweet delirium.”

Red32 is a new crossover progressive pop rock band based throughout the United States featuring members of Tony Romero’s Vortex, Xaoslord, Bomber Goggles, and States. The band strives to blend the varied influences of its four members into a forward-looking musical expression.
