‘Out Of My League’, Allan Thomas latest single release coming out 5/2/25.
Even though we are living in the craziest of times, I find that the occasional splash of humor can help alleviate, at least momentarily, some of the darkness.
In light of that I’m super jazzed to release the 5th single from my upcoming 8th album ’Out Of My League’: a modern day tongue-in-cheek take on the song ‘The Girl From Ipanema’ delivered with some eye-rolling humor in a bed of Westcoast, R&B/Soul/Funk groovaciousness.
Featuring yours truly plus keyboard wizard Michael Ruff, with James Taylor bassist Jimmy Johnson, NYC jazz specialist Bob Franceschini on tenor sax and Oahu, Hawaii, songbird Amanda Frazier singing backup vocals.
