Alone and miles around Mike Andersen goes solo tour with new and old songs in nude versions.
Vocal, an acoustic guitar and a foot in size 47. Those are the few elements Mike Andersen brings with him on the road when, from September 13, he begins his very first solo tour.
An intimate tour that has been cut to the bone and where Mike Andersen meets his audience all alone and at eye level. It is honest, raw and unpolished.
May 1 Mike Andersen released the solo album “One Million Miles”, which received a sea of good reviews and topped the vinyl hit list twice. On the upcoming solo tour, Mike Andersen will play the nine personal tracks that make up the new album as well as old celebrities in completely raw and nude versions.
Mike Andersen, one of Denmark’s strongest voices and best guitarists, has previously released seven albums with bands. Peeling down his musical expression is something he has long dreamed of.
I have always strived to make songs that can be performed by just myself and a guitar. Still, I’ve never released or played them live that way. It’s time now, says Mike Andersen.
The audience can expect an intimate concert experience, where it’s just Mike Andersen’s voice, his acoustic guitar playing and his size 47 footsteps. At the same time, Mike Andersen will spice up the concert with personal stories about both the songs and his life.
Mike Andersen is a man who has many miles in the big boots, and has many more miles ahead of him. He has played more than 1200 concerts with his band both at home and abroad.
He has no plans to drop his band, but right now it’s about the solo tour. – I’ve become completely crazy about the space of intensity I experience when I’m alone with the audience, concludes Mike Andersen, who is looking forward to the understanding tour.
