With the song “Stop Wasting My Time” the sing/songwriter Morten Woods did go directly to the charts in Denmark. His debutalbum “Yours To Keep” contains 12 strong songs all written by himself and is produced together with Thomas Brekling. Morten Woods was born in Copenhagen, but is still a UK citizenm his father is from UK and his mother is from Denmark. So despite he has been living his hole life in Denmark he is singing and controlling the english language 100% which you truly can hear in the songs.
Morten Woods is a very good songwriter and at the debutalbum he has written songs that reminds you of other west coast music songwriters such as Dan Hill, Jude Cole, Stephen Bishop etc.
Right now Morten Woods is a established musicians and has toured and recorded with different danish artists. His musictalent has brought him together with Soren Sko (Sko/Torp), Trine Rein, Sanne Salomonsen, Love Shop and latest Nikolaj Steen
Now Morten Woods has released his first album that was recorded together with his friends Mikkel Damgaard (keyboards), Thorbjörn Appehl (bass) & Thomas Duus (drums). The album was recorded in Denmark & Sweden were the album was mixed by Mats Lindfors that earlier has worked with Mauro Scocco & Mats Ronander.
“Yours To Keep” is a mix of pop & soul, but with a lot of influence from the american west coast and the radiohit “Stop Wasting My Time” gives a good look of Morten Woods coming career as a songwriter and artists.
