Eric Kaz is a singer-songwriter who was born in Brooklyn in 1947.

Kaz had many accolades and awards from ASCAP and CMA, top-ten hits in pop and R&B, number one country hits by George Strait and many others, as well as adult contemporary hits, including the number one hit song ‘That’s What Love is All About’ by Michael Bolton.

Eric Kaz began his career in the late ‘ 60s playing with Happy and Artie Traum. In the early 70s he signed a contract with Atlantic for which published two albums.

These are works that move between rock and folk and country, in the wake of artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Severin Browne, Graham Nash etc.

In 1975, along with Craig Fuller just emerged from Pure Prairie League, American Flyer trains, with whom he recorded two discs of light country-rock.

Disbanded the band, in 1978 only one public work on behalf Fuller & Kaz, remaining on the same sound proposed by the group. After this album Eric Kaz is dedicated exclusively to composing, writing songs for many artists, including Linda Ronstadt, Rita Coolidge, Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Meisner and Kim Carnes.
