Hemifrån is an independent A&R, promotion and marketing company, based in the heart of Sweden, specializing in, what they call, “gut music” – The kind of music that you can feel in your gut, no matter what. David Massey – Man In The Mirror

On the 1st track of his new collection, “Till The Evening Comes”, David Massey sings, “by myself, just strumming some chords, first warm day of spring, trying to think up some meaningful words, but not coming up with a thing”. He then proceeds to reel off 6 profoundly melancholy, but moving original tunes followed by a home recording cover of Townes Van Zandt’s “Tecumseh Valley”. More information at Hemifran.

The Brain Behind Pa – Beggars Belief

Indianapolis band The Brains Behind Pa has a new studio album with 12 original songs. “Beggars Belief” is the band’s 1st release in over 18 years. The record is the result of what the band is calling ‘The Pony Expressions Recording Sessions’, which began in April 2019. More information at Hemifran.

Eva Hillered – Take Me Home

“While putting together the songs for my new solo album, I was struck by how often the word ‘home’ appeared, not just in the lyrics, but in the deeper emotional landscape of each song.” ~ Eva Hillered. The Paris Rogues – Live And Learn

The debut album by The Paris Rogues features 10 songs, all composed by Michael C Parris and Peter Rogan, with some contributing co-writers, blending folk, americana, vintage rock, and blues. Ryan Holweger – The Golden Paper Flower

Ryan Holweger’s body of work has bloomed once again, with the inception of “The Golden Paper Flower”. Holweger’s 2018 debut solo album, “Gunmetal Sky”, left some big shoes to fill, and he responded to the challenge with a deep, ethereal voice that transcends the limitations of its genre. Dave Desmelik – Among Friends

Dave Desmelik’s “Among Friends” album includes Dave’s versions of songs written by Bow Thayer, Jimmy Davidson, Steve Mayone, David Philips, Nolan McKelvey, Betsy Franck, Laura Blackley, Jay Brown, Aaron Woody Wood, and an alternate rendition of one of Dave’s songs, “Tear It Down”, from “Afterthoughts”, 2003, as it was originally written. Mike Farris – The Sound Of Muscle Shoals

For “The Sound Of Muscle Shoals”, Mike Farris’ 1st album since 2018’s “Silver & Stone”, Farris made the pilgrimage that many soul shakers and stirrers have made before him, across the O’Neal Bridge and over the Tennessee River, straight into the creative vortex of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and right up to the door of the legendary FAME Studios..
