Blue Desert is a Swedish AOR/Westcoast music project, not a traditional touring rock group in the classic sense, but a studio and collaboration project centered around some really established musicians from both Scandinavia and the USA.
The band/project is led by Andreas Grimsbo (keyboards and producer), along with: Bengan Andersson – drums & Stigge Ljunglöf – bass.
The rhythm section forms the backbone, but it is the collaborations with a number of names in the AOR and Westcoast world that define the sound – especially high vocal harmony and polished 80s-inspired rock.
