Swedish AOR with touch of west coast…
Big Swedish melodic AOR group formed in 1986. The immense sound on this album is quite captivating at times, and has some wondrous moments throughout. Everything you would ever want to hear or see on an AOR type album is probably captured on these songs, whether it be harmonious keyboard washes, heaps of melody, pulsing bass, or the magical voice of Thomas Visktrom who does literally soar like an eagle at times.
“Free Like An Eagle”, “Fever”, “You’ve Got Your Dreams” and “Wildcat” are top class up-tempo AOR tracks. “Feel My Heartbeat” is a superb funk-AOR song while “In The Night” is a breathtaking power ballad. “The Power Inside” sounds like a hi-tech AOR Jojo song but is still great. Their first album which produced by Göran Elmquist is a must have especially if you like bands like Treat, Alien, Masquarade, Europe and Easy Action.
