• West Coast Music

As the name indicates West Coast Music has its origin on the American West Coast. The music emphasizes melody, harmonies and arrangements, and the vocal and instrumental performances are always with great skill and of high quality. The music is often performed by pop/rock artists from the American West Coast, but is in no way limited to any geografical area.

In 1997 the Swedish duo Sand & Gold released the album ”Remember My Name” on the Danish label Kick Music.

This project was a kind of music playground for Pete Sandberg and Jonas Reingold. They actually teamed together to form a more AOR type of project, but the songs they already had composed didn´t fit into this.

The duo namned the project Sand & Gold and the music influenced by the American mid-western singer/songwriter style.

Contributing to the album is Kee Marcello (Europe), Johan Glossner (Grand Illusion) and Rasmus Kihlberg (Peter Friestedt).
